Julia Ormond

JuliaOrmond was the daughter Josephine Lab technician, and John Ormond (a stockbroker) who lived in Epsom, Surrey. Ormond is the second of five children for her parents. Her first appearances in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady attracted the attention of many. She then attended Cranleigh School and Guildford High School. After a single year of art school , she was redirected to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art where she was graduated in 1988. Ormond first appeared in British television in the 1989 show Traffik, about the illegal drug trade that stretches from the far East into the streets of Europe. Ormond was the heroin-addicted kid of the main character, the Home Office minister working to combat heroin importation. This first appearance earned him rave reviews.
