April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress who is a model, actress and singer. Her most well-known role is that of Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actor best known for her character Stacy Barrett on the American drama comedy television show Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modeling after which she went on to film and TV shows. As an extra, she was first seen on the small screen as a character in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough role of Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Her character of Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby huge acclaim across the globe. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-series Titans. In a spin-off version in the form of Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby appeared in TV movies such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her debut on the big screen was in All Roads Lead Home. She then appeared in films such as The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. After completing ballet classes and French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue a professional acting career. Bowlby is well-known for her performances on a number of TV series, including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2005), Freddie: Sydney in 2005 as well as Stacked: Jasmine as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg. More recently Bowlby has played the character as Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who lost her mother in an automobile accident. Bowlby has been cast in a comedy film due for release in 2008 movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She is from Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. Her marriage was not formal and she had she has no children.
