Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. During her time at the academy, she appeared in several stage productions, including King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. In the years since she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she appeared in Elisha in an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in the six episodes in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also starred as the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. She has performed on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was then ended. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the initial two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after a guest appearance in the pilot episode of the third season. On the show Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her family included both parents Roy and Patty along with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks because her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball and both in the spring and summer. Ashley was never able to walk. She danced. When she reached 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she joined Baby Ballet. It was then that she discovered Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to perform competitively until her high-school graduation with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and more. Ashley was awarded the best soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
