Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She moved to California at the age of five. She grew up primarily within Orange County. Her breakthrough came in acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas began her acting career through tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the character Marisa. In the wake of her departure from soap opera Jane the Virgin in 2016 she was recast in the role of Catalina the character that appeared on the show regularly. The model, who can speak four languages, has appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she was Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The relationship began shortly after the This Is Us star split from wife Chrishell Stause in November of this year. Pernas Hartley tied the knot privately with Pernas in May 2021.
